My parents on their wedding day:  September 25, 1976

My mother, Melinda (Conrad) Yoder, was born on March 29, 1954 to Arthur & Fern (Rapp) Conrad.  She was one of eight children.   She graduated from Oley High School in 1972.

Both my parents went to work at Western Electric (now known as Lucent Technologies).  It was there that they met in 1974.   After two years of dating, they were married on September 25, 1976. 

In 1979, they gave birth to me and three years later gave birth to my sister.   My mother is still employed at Lucent Technologies.  My father, however, is retired due to the effects of diabetes.
