The Rock-afire Explosion was the Animatronic animal band that entertained customers at ShowBiz Pizza Place restaurants from 1981-1991. The stage show went through several different incarnations throughout it's history, and was often changed to offer something neat and new. At times, Rolfe & Earl were removed and had Uncle Klunk installed in their place. During the Christmas season, Uncle Klunk was redressed as Santa Claus. Starting in 1986 the Liberty Show was introduced, in which the Statue of Liberty stood rotating in Rolfe & Earl's stage. Often times there would be 2 versions of a show; with SPP's poor voice actors on one show, and Creative Engineering's superior voices on the other.
